January 30, 2024 — After a rigorous adoption process, Inquiry By Design‘s Full English Language Arts (ELA) Curriculum for Grades 6-12 has been officially adopted as a Recommended Instructional Material by the Utah State Board of Education. This endorsement reflects the curriculum’s excellence and aligns with Utah’s commitment to providing schools with the best core-related materials.
The Utah State Board of Education, through its Instructional Materials Adoption Process, maintains a commitment to local autonomy among school districts in the selection of instructional materials. The process involves a statewide Instructional Materials Review, where professional educators from various regions of Utah assess and critique the materials submitted by publishers. The evaluation is based on alignment with established rubrics and standards for each content area.
Inquiry By Design’s Full Curriculum for Grades 6-12 stood out during this comprehensive review, showcasing its excellence in meeting the high standards set by the Utah State Board of Education. The recommendation underscores the curriculum’s adaptability, level of teacher support, and the richness of its reading materials.
