This latest workshop highlights Inquiry By Design’s unique apprenticeship approach to meeting CCSS requirements for English language arts. Workshop attendees will explore the importance of text and task progressions, in addition to the role of student collaboration within those tasks, to support reading, writing, speaking, listening, and thinking skills. During one segment, attendees will work as learners through a series of exercises using Inquiry By Design curriculum to experience for themselves what an apprenticeship approach looks and feels like.
Who should attend?
English language arts teachers, district leaders, principals, English language arts curriculum coordinators, literacy coordinators, and literacy coaches.
Registration is $145 per person. When registering two or more people, each additional registrant on your team is $100.
Workshop hours are 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
